The Canary Islands is an amazing archipelago made of volcanic islands, which will surprise you in many ways, above and below the water surface. Among them, Gran Canaria, with its unique climate for which it earned the nickname “the mini continent”.

Our base is located in the bay of Taurito on the south-western coast, some 15 minutes drive from Playa del Ingles. Click here to see the location on a Gran Canaria map .
You can also see the location "from above", check out the Blue Explorers on Google Maps! The bay of Taurito as well as the near-by towns are tourist areas providing an ideal place to spend your holidays in the sun. Blue Explorers Dive Center is located on the beach front, therefore the location is ideal if you come accompanied by non-divers who wish to spend a day on an amazing beach while you are diving.

Just around the corner from our base you will find Puerto de Mogan, a picturesque village referred to as "Little Venice" because of its many canals.
We make it easy for you and have an organised transport to pick you up and bring you to our dive base. An air-conditioned van/bus to pick you up from your hotel or apartment and will bring you back after the diving has finished!
